President Obama Has Got His Groove On — Singing “Sweet Home Chicago”

Last night there was a White House concert in recognition of Black History Month to celebrate the history and impact of the blues. B.B. King was the guest performer and before the conclusion of the show, he urged the President to help them sing since his performance at the Apollo were memorable and a hit where the President sang “Let’s Stay Together“.

Well, the President sure can do it all showing off his skills but most of all his thoughtfulness with his remark when he spoke of the historical perspective of the blues. The President said, “this is music with humble beginnings — roots in slavery and segregation, a society that rarely treated black Americans with the dignity and respect that they deserved”.

Well, without any further ado…
