WOW…they say “you live by the sword you die by the sword”. Did people really thought they can get away by plagiarizing other peoples’ speech when you know technology is your worst enemy?
At tonight’s Republican Convention, Melania Trump the superstar for many may have just thrown her husband’s campaign under the bus for stealing a speech given by First Lady Michelle Obama from eight years ago.
Here is Michelle Obama’s speech from Eight Years ago:
Barack and I were raised with so many of the same values that you work hard for what you want in life; that your word is your bond and you do what you say you’re going to do; that you treat people with dignity and respect, even if you don’t know them, and even if you don’t agree with them. And Barack and I set out to build lives guided by these values, and pass them on to the next generation. Because we want our children –and all Children in this nation — to know that the only limit to the height of your achievements is the reach of your dreams and your willingness to work for them.
…and here is Melania Trump’s speech from tonight at the NRC in Cleveland, OH:
From a young age, my parents impressed on me the values that you work hard for what you want in life: that your word is your bond and you do what you say and keep your promise; that you treat people with respect. They taught and showed me values and morals in their daily life. That is a lesson that I continue to pass along to our son, and we need to pass those lessons on to the many generations to follow. Because we want our children in this nation to know that the only limit to your achievements is the strength of your dreams and your willingness to work for them.
You be the judge. Continue reading

I can’t understand why anyone who is a Democratic nominee would want to split hair knowing the reality of our politics to purposely trying to marginalize the efforts of the DNC that will eventually support you — should you win the Democratic nomination — to get out the vote, make calls for you, knock at doors to pass on information about your views and argue on your behalf and the Democratic party why the American people should vote for you? I don’t know who the Democratic party nominee will be but whether it be Senator Sanders or Secretary Clinton, as Democrats we all have to be ready to colossal around our nominee to take one of them to the finish line. However, I feel this shrewd move of disingenuousness by the Bernie camp is misguided and foul making my stomach cringe.
So Senator Sanders campaign took aim at DNC saying…
Eight years ago, then-Senator Barack Obama took the noble step of banning contributions to the DNC from lobbyists and special interest PACs. This week, the DNC reversed that ban. Tell the Democratic National Committee you support the restrictions put in place by President Obama that ban lobbyist and special interest PAC contributions.
The framework for Iran’s deal has been almost universally welcomed in Europe except by Israel and the Republican Party. As soon as the framework was announced many disingenuous individuals, including the racist prime minister of Israel said that the deal provides a pathway for Iran to a bomb harshly criticizing the framework agreement making his round of media blitz on Network shows to try to shape a narrative of misinformation and lies. To add fuel to the fire, Netanyahu further wanted to make the deal conditional on Iranian’s recognition of the state of Israel. Seriously? The dumbest politician in the world would know that will not happen and Netanyahu knows it well as well. However, this shows the mindset of a person who really has no desire of seeking any deal with Iran because anyone who has really the best interest of an agreement for an aggressive solution to ensure Iran does not have nuclear arsenals will not act like an amateur politician.
The effort to marginalize President Obama by making the deal seems like a no deal has been the motto for many war mongering hardliners but a former Mossad chief Efraim Halevy has got it right when he said, “I certainly am pleasantly surprised that the Iranians have agreed to so much here. In terms of the inspections regime, the reduction as far as the centrifuges, the stockpile, what they’re doing with the Arak reactor, all of that I think is really quite surprising and quite good.” He agrees that President Barack Obama was right to call the agreement with Iran “historic” and that Iran made important and significant concessions during the negotiations.
Well, here is the truth that you can battle the misinformation campaign with on on the framework agreement between Iran and six world powers on Tehran’s nuclear program from the State Department: Continue reading

When the Portuguese brought in the first Africans from the Present day Angola into Jamestown, Virginia, in 1619, it started a precedent that has a scaring implication of unimaginable magnitude. The birth of RACISM that hasn’t had a cure since SLAVERY began.
Recently, Charles Barkley made a controversy statement about slavery by his admittance of his ignorance and limitation saying:
“I don’t think anytime anything bad that happens in the black community we have to talk about slavery,” Barkley said. “Listen, slavery is, uh, well, I shouldn’t say one of the worst things ever, because I don’t know anything about it other than what I read or what my grandmother told me.”
This ignorance at first was irritating, infuriating and disappointing to say the least. However, one has to understand and learn his history before speaking out on such issue and I bet Barkley is just one of many people of color who have been deliberately denied the opportunity to learn their history and by default designed to think the way he does. I am certain a lot of us don’t know the history of how Africans were captured, sold, shackled, raped and tortured. There is no historical accounting of how many millions of Africans that have died during the years of the Middle Passage, how Africans built the infrastructure of America without a pay to enrich their savage masters, how Africans belief and social systems were striped out of their core values, and etc.. Those interested in the real history of slavery, unlike the Charles Barkley’s and most Americans, had to seek it out in bits and pieces like peeling layers of onion from different sources.
Greetings to all.
A lot of people have asked about where I have been hiding and why I was not writing anymore. So I decided to write this essay just to let you know why.
I left blogging right after the 2012 Presidential election because being an on-line warrior informing the public about why President Obama is the right man for the job for the Presidency was taking a lot of my time away from spending important time with my kids and in the process I was depriving my kids a lot of valuable lesson they deserve to learn from my experiences. While indirectly I was fighting for their future, I wasn’t able to balance my fatherhood duties between a full time day job and essentially a full time blogging job for free. I had to take a break from blogging right after the 2012 election to re-prioritize my life.
I hope you have been well the last couple of years. While I may not be writing frequently, I am planning to make time to write a bit more in the new year and hope to engage with you. I wanted to say in advance that I really truly appreciate all of your feedback and contributions.
Thank You and Happy New Year.
Retired Army Col. Lawrence Wilkerson had some strong word for the Republican Party after that comment made by Mitt Romney’s die hard supporter, John Sununu, who referred the endorsement of President Obama by Colin Powell’s as nothing but a black thing dismissing the impact of the endorsement showing of course the usual race pandering in the open which often is spewed by many Republicans these days.
During the Ed Schultz show on Friday, Ed asked Col. Wilkerson was asked what he thought of Mr. Sununu’s comment and this was what a decorated Republican Col. Wilkerson had to say in a grand scheme of things:
My party, unfortunately, is the bastion of those people, not all of them, but most of them, who are still basing their positions on race. Let me just be candid: My party is full of racists, and the real reason a considerable portion of my party wants President Obama out of the White House has nothing to do with the content of his character, nothing to do with his competence as commander-in-chief and president, and everything to do with the color of his skin, and that’s despicable.
Yes, that’s despicable indeed but I have said my peace on these Republican feces who have forgotten how America has been built.
Oh well, as usual, the Teabaging Republican Party just keeps continuing to undressed themselves in so many ways for the worst and we will be around to take it to the bank.
