1) Mitt taunting President Obama’s record…Ouch! Some folks just don’t got no shame.
The notion Mitt Romney can remotely think he can compare his record with President Obama is so baffling to me. I often find myself cringing for Romney’s family because of the inconsistancies this man has displayed. I don’t understand how this man can be a front runner and especially after saying let Detroit go bankrupt.
2) Rick “The Secessionist” Perry Endorses Newt Gingrich…Birds of the same feather flock together.
I’ve always believed the mission is greater than the man. As I have contemplated the future of this campaign, I have come to the conclusion that there is no viable path forward for me in this 2012 campaign [...] Therefore today I am suspending my campaign and endorsing Newt Gingrich for president of the United States[...] I believe Newt is a conservative visionary who can transform our country.
3) Oh Newt…Oh Newt…You Bad Boy! Newt’s 2nd Wife Tell All:
According to Reuters - Newt Gingrich’s second wife said in an interview the Republican presidential candidate asked her to have an “open marriage” during his affair with another woman in the 1990s, a statement that might damage his chances in South Carolina’s primary vote.
4) President Obama in Orlando Announces New Tourism Policies:
Brazilians and Chinese who want to visit the United States will have a much easier time under an executive order issued by President Obama on Thursday, and that’s fuel for the economy of Florida, where he traveled to get as much political mileage as possible from the change.
The president visited Walt Disney World in Orlando, one of the tourism centers of gravity in the electoral battleground state, to announce several initiatives intended to encourage more foreign tourists to visit the United States.
“The more folks who visit America, the more Americans we get back to work,” he said. “It’s that simple.”
More than half a million Brazilians visit Florida each year, and the way the balance of tourism trade is calculated, that business is the equivalent of American exports, which the administration has been promising to increase. [More....]
