President Barack Obama has been on a mission this week. He visited the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau doing a little bit of victory lap after appointing Richard Cordray as its director. He also visited the EPA to assure them that the Republican’s meme that the EPA’s regulation is a job killer and bad to the economy is bogus and that he supports them fully. He also welcomed this year’s NBA Champs, announced a new Chief of Staff, and introduced the White House’s Insourcing Initiative.
He also did some major fundraising activities a couple of days ago in Chicago, Illinois while he addressed a campaign event at the University of Illinois. If you see the crowd at the events, I don’t know what the Glen Greenwald types of liberal are talking about but I don’t see any enthusiasm gap from the left.
