Retired Army Col. Lawrence Wilkerson had some strong word for the Republican Party after that comment made by Mitt Romney’s die hard supporter, John Sununu, who referred the endorsement of President Obama by Colin Powell’s as nothing but a black thing dismissing the impact of the endorsement showing of course the usual race pandering in the open which often is spewed by many Republicans these days.
During the Ed Schultz show on Friday, Ed asked Col. Wilkerson was asked what he thought of Mr. Sununu’s comment and this was what a decorated Republican Col. Wilkerson had to say in a grand scheme of things:
My party, unfortunately, is the bastion of those people, not all of them, but most of them, who are still basing their positions on race. Let me just be candid: My party is full of racists, and the real reason a considerable portion of my party wants President Obama out of the White House has nothing to do with the content of his character, nothing to do with his competence as commander-in-chief and president, and everything to do with the color of his skin, and that’s despicable.
Yes, that’s despicable indeed but I have said my peace on these Republican feces who have forgotten how America has been built.
Oh well, as usual, the Teabaging Republican Party just keeps continuing to undressed themselves in so many ways for the worst and we will be around to take it to the bank.
I saw this well done ad today at http://www.actually.org where Rosie Perez makes the case for why Latinos will not vote for Mitt Romney.
…and then the contrast where in the Ad below President Obama speaks directly to Latinos in Spanish:
“En los jóvenes conocidos como los DREAMers, veo las mismas cualidades que Michelle y yo tratamos de inculcar en nuestras hijas. Respetan a sus padres. Estudian para superarse. Y quieren aportar al único país que conocen y aman. Como padre, me inspiran. Y como Presidente su valentía me han hecho recordar que ningún obstáculo es muy grande. Ningún camino muy largo.”
“In youth known as DREAMers, I see the same qualities that Michelle and I try to instill in our daughters. Respect their parents. Studied to overcome. And they want to contribute to the only country they know and love. As a parent, I am inspired. And as President bravery have reminded me that no obstacle is too big. No long way. “
Mitt Romney obviously don’t get it but he will get it on November 6. Don’t Boo, VOTE!

Joe Biden came out swinging, fact checking Paul Ryan on the spot, not letting him go unchecked with the same lines of lies and misrepresentation that was evidenced during the last Presidential debate by his boss, Mitt Romney. The performance of Vice President Joe Biden was aggressive, rightly dismissive and very persistent that he looked and spoke like he had this fierce urgency of putting the Romney/Ryan campaign into shreds and I must say he certainly has out performed above and beyond what critics thought would be soft exchange.
Joe Biden clearly won the debate simply because he was sincere, had passion and conviction, he knew and lived most of what he was talking about and more than anything he was not artificial and aloof like his debating “friend” from the other side was. The contrast couldn’t be any clearer on issue after issue as Joe Biden showed the difference between the look back and stay in the ditch plan of Romney/Ryan and the moving forward plan of the President.
Biden didn’t waste one minute going after Romney’s record from the get go. He started with dismantling the bogus assertion that Romney cares about 100% of America as he hammered Romney’s denigration that American people would never “take personal responsibility” exposing the behind close door billionaire and millionaire private meeting where Romney said, he doesn’t worry about the 47% Americans” showing that the Romney/Ryan ticket is disconnected and don’t understand the middle class.

Ok, the President during the Debate had many missed opportunities to set the record straight but that is water under the bridge now. However, it does not mean we have to seat back and let the lies by the most pathological liar go unchecked. Below is a video that pretty much shows a rebuttal of Mitt Romney’s lies at the Wednesday debate by Mitt Romney. Quite a sight to show during the next debate by a moderator but don’t count on it.
Sometimes it is hard and time consuming to read all of the accomplishments of President Obama so there is this viral video that has been complied by an independent group that pretty much tells the story and the reasoning behind why Obama is the man for the job. I have to share it to as many people as possible to get the message out to those who are still on the fence about who they will be voting for on election day. Please share it to your contacts in every social media possible.
And then, here we have where the Republican leadership and institution have said so many things that pretty much confirms the real Mitt Romney. Mitt Romney is not worthy of being a President and voters must know the kind of pathological “liar” he is as Newt Gingrich notes it in the video below. The argument that must be made is when you have a person with so many character flaws and dishonest behavior, how could anyone trust him as a commander-in-chief. What will he be lying about next?
Here are things you must continue to do:
- Vote early if you can.
- Help get out the vote for President Obama
- Donate here for the Obama Campaign
- Know your voting right and help educate others about voter suppression/intimidation efforts
- Help transport others on election day.
- Get involved. Get involved. Get involved.
The Obama campaign has raised $181 million in the month of September, their best one month fund raising effort where over 1.8 million strong Americans who feel passionate about re-electing President Obama for a second term contributed in huge numbers.
Jim Messina, Obama’s campaign manager, reported in an email communication to supporters that the total number of donations effort “surpassed 10 million donations so far in 2012″, with 567,044 were first time donors in September, contributing an average donation of $53. In total, about 98% of the donations were under $250. This is a huge success story for the Obama Administration.
However, if you think this money is enough to battle what Romney’s super PACs have stored in the next few weeks, let me remind you about the money that Romney surrogates have already spent. Since this presidential campaign began, independent groups/Super PACs have spent as of October 6, 2012, at least $309 million on television advertisements. A breakdown of who these PACs are can be found here. About 82% ($255 Million) of this money was raised by Republican PACs and has been spent attacking President Obama 100%. If you ask where this money is coming from, it certainly is not from the 10 million middle class American. The Romney campaign has been financed by corporations and those at the top 1% of America and they have been battering President Obama with so many misinformation and lies in favor of their candidate, Mitt Romney.
